Location: Berkshire

Our client is currently seeking an Operational Assistant Wedding and Events Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. The Operational Assistant Wedding and Events Manager will be required to oversee and execute weddings and events in a stunning hotel setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating all conferencing, weddings, and banqueting on site.
  • Organising and conducting training in line with brand standards.
  • Assisting with leading the conference and banqueting team in delivering first-class service at all events.
  • Setting up and tearing down all event rooms in line with function requirements.
  • Meeting and greeting clients to build and develop lasting relationships.
  • Working in line with the sales team to ensure a smooth transition from the time of enquiry to the time of leaving.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent maths and English skills.
  • Proven experience in hotel, hospitality, or weddings.
  • Assistant Manager or Supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of Opera is preferred but not essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
