Venue Technician (AV)
We are looking for a talented AV (audio/visual) Technician to join our client on a permanent basis. The Venue Technician will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the operational aspects in the venue.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and execute the AV support and operation job plan for all events at the Venue.
- Assist with Troubleshooting and resolving any logistical or technical issues that may arise during events promptly and efficiently.
- Ensure and oversee the successful and efficient rollout of the daily operations in setups, operations and derigs
- Ensure all in-house equipment is in optimal working condition at all times, liaising with and coordinating with the Account Manager and Warehouse Manager if equipment is faulty and needs to be repaired.
- Working closely with the Account Manager on technical and organisational consultations
Key skills required:
- Understanding technical schematics, cable calls and floor plans
- Stay up to date with the latest AV technologies and industry trends, making recommendations for equipment upgrades or additions to enhance the Venue’s AV capabilities.
