Service Support Adviser

Location: Milton Keynes

Our established client is seeking a Service Support Adviser to join their busy team on a full-time permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering customer service to customers, handling inbound calls and emails.

As an advisor within the service division, you will liaise with colleagues such as Account Coordinators, Service Call Planners, and field-based Service Technicians.  You will also collaborate with internal colleagues within the other departments such as Spares, Sales, and Accounts to resolve customer issues.

Main responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer calls & emails with an emphasis on inbound customer queries.
  • Communicate with customers about their repair calls – advising of any delays/ job status
  • Track warehouse orders to coordinate delivery with technician schedule
  • Maintain accurate customer information on database.

  • Excellent telephone manner, able to remain calm under pressure and to deal with demanding customers.
  • Methodical and organised
  • Able to manage time and work under pressure to tight deadlines
  • Able to manage the demands of numerous tasks.
