Internal IT Audit Manager

Our fast-growing client is currently seeking an experienced Internal IT Audit Manager to join their team. The primary role of the Internal Audit Manager is to conduct risk-based internal audits, providing independent assessments to the Audit Committee on the company’s governance, risk management, and internal control effectiveness, while also enhancing controls for cost-efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage and oversee audit programs, ensuring compliance with internal standards and efficient communication with review area managers.
2. Negotiate and secure agreements with managers to enhance risk management practices.
3. Document and follow up on the progress of agreed-upon actions by management.
4. Foster relationships with managers to stay informed about governance, risk, and control developments and promote Internal Audit’s role.
5. Contribute to the development of the Internal Audit Strategy, annual work plan, and team effectiveness while handling administrative duties for policy compliance.

Key Skills:

1. Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) qualification or equivalent certification.
2. Proficiency in conducting risk-based internal audits adhering to standards and effectively communicating with senior management and Audit Committee.
3. In-depth understanding of governance, risk management, and internal control.
4. Strong analytical skills to interpret and rationalize complex situations.
5. Versatility to work independently and as part of a team, with expertise in both IT and non-IT audit work and investigations.

Desirable:

1. Membership in a relevant audit discipline professional body (e.g., CIIA).
2. Proficiency in data analytics tools and techniques.
3. Experience with SAP-enabled systems.
4. Expertise in auditing complex change programs involving IT and business transformation.
5. Competency in project management, change management, and audit management software.
