Events Team Leader
Our established client is seeking a full-time permanent Team Leader to work in their Retailer Events department. The successful candidate will oversee and manage all event logistics for multiple retailer event accounts and Event Coordinators simultaneously. The role will be well suited to someone who is passionate about leading and motivating a team the position will involve HR aspects such as appraisals, 1:1’s, training, and personal development plans.
- Prioritise workload based on understanding of team objectives
- Work alongside Retailer Events Account Team to implement quarterly and annual strategies across client accounts
- Proactively identify areas for operational efficiencies and work with Head of Event Production to implement these
- The generation, analysis and sharing of comprehensive and detailed reports on results, post event evaluation, budget, sales and KPI targets
- Assist Retailer Events Account Team with data preparation for presentations
- Work with the Head of Event Production to lead team meetings, updating members on best practices/ continuing expectations
- Act as a positive role model at all times, whilst providing encouragement to Retailer Event team members, including communicating team goals and identifying areas for new training or skill checks
- Provide quality customer service to both clients and dealers, answering enquiries, and effectively handling queries and complaints.
- Line management experience
- An enthusiastic, highly organised individual with a flexible working nature, excellent multitasking skills, can-do attitude, and the ability to prioritise
- Ability to analyse results with a natural desire to strive for continuous improvement
- An excellent communicator (both verbal and written), with the ability to communicate with a variety of individuals professionally
- Some background interest, or experience in aspects of marketing, events management or logistics desirable
