Our fast-growing, digital communications client is seeking an Account Director to join their team on a permanent basis to. The successful account director will create and lead industry-leading colleague and stakeholder communications projects and drive the business forward.
- Reporting to the Managing Partner, you will work with the whole team, and new/existing clients, at strategic and tactical levels to bring all aspects of the company’s offer to life.
- Responsible for future innovation and insight that support the company’s people and help develop the business’ growing client portfolio.
- Maintain agency and individual focus on excellent delivery and production standards; ensure all projects are produced to the highest standards and feed back to project teams to ensure their continuing development/knowledge.
- Use judgement and experience to handle any unclear issues around production or process breaches, enforcing penalties and educating colleagues in correct procedures.
- Run the daily huddles and be the ‘go-to’ person for all trafficking requests and issues (managed daily and proactively).
- Alongside the Partner – Creative, provide a joint overview of all work going through the agency, working closely with pods and the studio to develop a longer-term forecast of upcoming work and using this to optimise resource deployment/staff utilisation.
- Schedule work and assemble teams/partners to ensure projects are well resourced.
Key skills and experience:
- A proven track record in delivering excellent communications projects that are planned, integrated and measurable to generate clear business results for our clients.
- Based their Warwickshire office with team management responsibilities but can work flexibly from home and across a range of client sites too.
- Having previous experience of senior account management, working in a content-driven communications agency or consultancy.
- Great with people and adept at building lasting client and team relationships at every level.
- Brimming with creative energy, technical flair, and passion for the job!.
